Say what you like about Taylor Swift – and, yes, we have a lot to say – she knows what works in her off-duty wardrobe. In her downtime her go-to look is more girl-next-door than international pop starlet, ultra-feminine and polished with the occasional grungy piece thrown in for good measure – but she never looks scruffy. Super short shorts, cropped tops and flippy dresses are her staples, more often than not paired with a great pair of ankle boots and a ladlike bag. She has a knack for looking great but reᴀssuringly normal. And isn’t that why we like her?

Dusty Johnson, House Freedom Caucus chair Scott Perry, Stephanie Bice, Chip Roy and Kelly Armstrong. The deal includes a one-month continuing resolution, funding the government through Oct. 31. It also includes an 8% funding cut to domestic agencies except for Veteran Affairs and the Pentagon.
